Summit USA, LLC manufactures and supplies stainless steel enclosures for position sensors designed for use in hazardous and industrial environments. Our high-pressure housings provide water-tight, gas-tight, and explosion-proof protection and are available with ATEX, UL, and cUL certifications.

This enclosure, also called the High Pressure Housing, was originally made to suit the needs of the Oil & Gas Industry to provide a safe usage of standard sensors in hazardous locations. It started with a Cenelec approval only, but was redesigned in 2003 to meet the European ATEX standards and the UL / cUL standards for USA and Canada.
Over the years the applications for these encloseres have expanded into many other industries, such as bottling machines for alcohol and other hazardous liquids, valve control in refineries, sensor protection in steel rolling mills and in the food processing indusrty.

These explosion proof enclosures - High Pressure Housings - are UL & cUL or ATEX-IECEx approved for use in hazardous locations with Temposonics position sensors.
This adapter is made for use with HPH housings with side opening(s). When you install the HPH in a cylinder, you may want to adjust the direction the opening is pointing. With this RTA you can adjust the direction 360° .
